Founder and lead system designer. CGD-certified and an IGSHPA Accredited Trainer & Installer — the geothermal and hydronic design expertise behind every Design Heating system.
About Design Heating
Design Heating is a Duluth team of experienced, well-trained HVAC professionals — led by Kevin Kaski, a Certified Geothermal Designer — designing and installing heating and cooling systems across Northeastern Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin since 2016. The people who design your system are the people who install it.
Meet the Owner
Kevin started Design Heating in 2016 with one principle: a heating system should be engineered for the home it sits in — never sized by rule of thumb, never installed by whichever crew happens to be free that week.
Design Heating projects start with a computerized ACCA Manual J heat-loss calculation whenever the job calls for careful sizing. For hydronic systems, Kevin designs tubing layouts in LoopCad and models near-boiler piping before the first parts are ordered. For geothermal, he sizes the ground loop himself using the same software the big engineering firms use.
Then our crew builds it. Design Heating runs its own trained, in-house team — no rotating subcontractors. The people who design and quote your system are the people who install it and service it down the road. Over the years Kevin has grown the company from a one-person shop into a seasoned six-person crew without ever changing that principle.
That is why Design Heating maintains a 4.9-star average across 114 verified reviews.
